Terhal is a large-scale theatrical production by Dragone, created in collaboration with the Saudi Ministry of Culture and presented in Riyadh. As the first production of its kind in the Kingdom, the show pays tribute to Saudi Arabia’s history, culture and identity, while connecting it to a contemporary narrative.
The performance brings together more than 60 local Saudi artists and 60 international performers, following the journey of Saad, a young Saudi navigating across time and space. Through a combination of storytelling, performance and visual elements, the production explores themes of heritage, nature and identity, ultimately highlighting the connection between the past and the future.
Terhal also marks the first Dragone show presented following the passing of its founder and Artistic Director, Franco Dragone, making it a particularly significant production for the entire creative team.

BeWunder supported the production by delivering lighting and video systems across the full duration of the show, alongside intercom and communication systems to support coordination between production teams.
Working closely with Dragone and the wider production team, BeWunder ensured that all technical elements aligned with the artistic direction and supported the performance on stage.
The team was actively involved throughout the rehearsal period, refining the technical setup and ensuring that lighting, video and stage elements complemented the performers and evolved in line with the production.
The delivery required precise coordination and on-site execution to support a live theatrical environment, ensuring that all systems operated consistently throughout the run of the show.
