Eve Show, Dubai/UAE
Titled “Water, Fire & Light”, the EMAAR New Year’s Eve Show was a large-scale multimedia production staged on the artificial lake in Downtown Dubai. The 35-minute performance combined live performers, projection, and scenographic elements, set against the backdrop of the Burj Khalifa and surrounding architecture.
The concept integrated multiple floating platforms and gauze-covered truss structures, transforming the lake into a dynamic stage environment. Large-scale projections across custom-built surfaces and surrounding buildings created a unified visual experience, merging physical performance with digital content.

BeWunder delivered the audio, video, and lighting systems for the production, supporting the realisation of a large-scale, multi-surface projection show across the lake and surrounding structures.
The scope included the deployment of projection systems across fifteen platforms with gauze-covered truss frames, which served as primary projection surfaces integrated with live performances.
A major element of the show was a 210-metre-long, eight-metre-high curved projection surface installed along the edge of the lake, supported by a large number of high-output projectors to create continuous visual content across the structure.
Additional projection surfaces were integrated into the surrounding architecture, including large-scale façades of The Dubai Mall, extending the visual experience across multiple viewing zones.
Lighting systems were implemented to support both the performance elements and the overall atmosphere of the show, while audio systems ensured coverage across the large outdoor environment.
All systems were coordinated and integrated to operate as one synchronized production environment, enabling a seamless combination of live performance, projection, and scenographic elements at scale.
