Founded in 1970, the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby 7s is one of the longest-running sports and social events in the Middle East, held annually at The Sevens Stadium in Dubai. As part of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, the event has grown into a globally recognised tournament, attracting large audiences and combining international rugby with entertainment and live music.
Over the years, the event has evolved into a large-scale experience, featuring record-breaking crowds, high-level sporting competition and performances by international artists within a dynamic venue environment.

BeWunder supported the delivery of the event by providing technical systems across the venue, working in close coordination with Falcon and Associates and all involved stakeholders.
The scope included the installation of audio, video and lighting systems to support both the sporting and entertainment programme, ensuring clear communication, visibility and atmosphere across the event spaces.
In addition, BeWunder contributed to the stage and technical planning, aligning the physical setup with the technical requirements of performances and event operations.
The delivery required careful coordination and on-site execution to support a high-capacity event operating across multiple days and accommodating a wide range of activities.
