The Hamdan Bin Mohammed Program for Smart Government Awards (HBMPSG) is a platform designed to support the modernisation of government services in Dubai. Rather than a conventional awards ceremony, the event brought together over 600 participants to exchange ideas, present initiatives, and engage directly with leadership and an international jury.

The format combined presentations, interactive exhibition elements, and live discussions, creating a dynamic environment that blended forum-style engagement with a structured awards programme.

BeWunder delivered the multimedia and show technology for the event, including audio, video, lighting, and rigging, while also supporting the pre-event visualisation and planning process.

The scope included detailed technical planning developed in close coordination with the agency, using 2D and 3D CAD drawings, 2D and 3D renderings, and WYSIWYG visualisation to give both the client and end customer a clear impression of the production ahead of the event.

In addition to the main auditorium, BeWunder delivered the technical setup for a dedicated Briefing Room for the jury and eleven presentation stands. These stands were equipped with interactive touchscreens connected to the central control room via glass-fibre cabling, allowing coordinated control across the venue.

Audio systems were configured to provide both local sound at the presentation stands and distributed coverage through the wider venue, creating a 360° sound experience that worked in sync with the projected content. Video mapping was implemented on projection surfaces on both sides of the venue, connecting the different elements of the event into one coordinated experience.
