YOUR MISSION

Coming with extensive experience in AVL field, the Head of Design & Engineering will provide strategic leadership, ensuring the alignment of design and engineering goals with the company’s business objectives. This role demands a visionary leader capable of motivating and developing multidisciplinary teams, fostering innovation. 
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical (AV) background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of strategic planning and team leadership. This position requires a proactive and adaptable leader committed to driving continuous improvement and achieving excellence in design and engineering 

• Develop and implement the strategic vision for the design and engineering teams.   
• Ensure alignment of design and development goals with business objectives.   
• Leading, motivating and developing multidisciplinary teams.   
• Recruitment, training and performance evaluation of team members.   
• Fostering a creative and collaborative work environment.   
• Promoting innovation and continuous improvement in design and development processes. 
• Identifying and implementing new technologies and methods.   
• Management of research and development projects. 

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven experience in AVL industry in design and engineering, project control or management in a leadership / team supervisor position.  
• Proven experience in strategic planning and execution, aligning team goals with broader business objectives.  
• Demonstrated success in leading multidisciplinary teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management.  
• Ability to create and sustain a creative and collaborative work environment, encouraging innovation and team cohesion.  
• Comprehensive knowledge of design and engineering principles, tools, and software.  
• Excellent communication skills: Ability to articulate strategic vision and goals to diverse stakeholders.  
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written). German language is an added advantage (not a must).
