As a turnkey experience partner, BeWunder supported OPAL Mannheim across project delivery, construction and technical systems.

On the project delivery side, BeWunder was responsible for coordinating the different disciplines and interfaces required to realise the venue, including alignment with stakeholders, consultants and contractors throughout the delivery process.

Within the construction scope, BeWunder contributed to the realisation of the temporary performance venue itself as part of the wider built environment required for OPAL.

For the technical systems, BeWunder delivered a range of audio, visual and stage lighting solutions tailored to the operational needs of the theatre. This included adaptable work and audience lighting, high-fidelity sound and monitoring systems featuring Vivace reverberation technology, and a comprehensive electrical systems and cabling infrastructure. The installation also includes an advanced stage management system integrated with safety features, robust IT networking, and an extensive patch box infrastructure that provides versatile connectivity throughout the theatre.
