Mosque Experience Centre
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Experience Centre offers visitors an inspiring journey through themes of faith, discovery and coexistence. Through a series of immersive, sensory and interactive environments, the museum presents a rich collection of artefacts and artworks that bring together tradition and contemporary creativity.
The project focused on the full delivery of exhibition works for the Light and Peace Museum within the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre. From early development through to final handover, the experience was shaped through a combination of project delivery, technical systems integration and digital content.
The result is a carefully curated environment where audiovisual systems, interactive applications and immersive media are seamlessly integrated into the space, enriching the visitor journey and supporting the narrative of the exhibition.

As a turnkey experience partner, BeWunder delivered the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Experience Centre across all stages of the project, including consultancy and advisory, engineering and design, procurement and logistics, installation and construction, as well as testing, commissioning and operations.
Under project management, BeWunder coordinated all stakeholders, consultants, curators and contractors, ensuring that the exhibition concept, technical design and implementation remained aligned with the narrative and cultural context of the space.
Within technical systems, BeWunder designed, delivered and integrated a wide range of exhibit technologies to support an immersive and emotionally engaging visitor journey. This included high-resolution projection systems for large-scale visual storytelling, interactive touchscreens, motion-sensing interfaces, RFID-triggered experiences and multi-user tables enabling shared interactions.
The audio environment was developed using directional speakers and surround sound systems, synchronised with visual content and interactive elements to create a cohesive experience. Architectural and programmable lighting was used to shape the atmosphere and support transitions between different themes across the exhibition.
Behind the scenes, the installation includes a comprehensive technical infrastructure with content management systems that support real-time control and future adaptability, ensuring reliable operation and long-term maintainability.
