Overview: 

AREA15 is the world’s first ever purpose-built immersive entertainment company with one location in Las Vegas, a second venue set to open in Orlando, and another regional pop-up venue that recently launched in Boulevard World, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The AREA15 pop-up experience at Riyadh Season includes various immersive interaction-based activities, including a 360-degree projection-mapped event venue known as “The Portal”. The Portal hosts a variety of concerts and live music performances, immersive programs, and large-scale art shows featuring renowned artworks like, Tyler Fuchua’s “Mechan X”, Davis McCarty’s “Pulse Portal” and Alchemy Art’s “Omah” amongst others.

Scope: 

BeWunder was brought into the fold to service two areas of the project, the art piece, for which projectors were mapped onto an art sculpture, and the second area being “The Portal”.

 The Portal consisted of projections onto all four walls and the venues floor using numerous projectors, and their revolutionary quad pixel drive technology.
