Austria Pavilion EXPO Astana, Kazakhstan
10th June to 10th September 2017

Austria
Pavilion

The Austria Pavilion at Expo 2017 Astana translated the theme “Future Energy” into an interactive and engaging visitor experience. Designed as a dynamic playground, the pavilion centred around the idea of human-powered energy, encouraging visitors to actively participate in generating energy through physical movement.

At the core of the experience was the “Power Machine”, supported by a series of interactive installations that demonstrated how energy can be created, used, and understood in everyday life. Through this approach, the pavilion highlighted Austria’s contribution to sustainable energy development while creating an intuitive and memorable environment for visitors of all ages.
