Austria’s Pavilion brings together music and architecture to convey its interpretation of Expo 2025 Osaka’s theme: “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.” The building’s defining feature — a monumental spiral sculpture made from stacked wooden boards — rises dramatically, guiding visitors into the heart of the exhibition.

BeWunder delivered the complete multimedia and lighting systems for the Austria Pavilion, with a special focus on its groundbreaking 100-channel audio system. This unique setup enabled visitors to create music collaboratively, interact with one another, and engage directly with the exhibition content—turning the experience into an active and participatory journey. 

The result was a fully immersive and emotionally intense sound environment that responded to visitor input in real time.
