Pavilion
The Saudi Arabia Pavilion presented an immersive journey through the Kingdom’s past, present, and future, under the theme “Together for a Better Future.”
Designed by Foster + Partners, the pavilion drew inspiration from traditional Saudi towns, with narrow pathways, shaded alleys, and a central courtyard forming the heart of the experience. This spatial layout recreated the atmosphere of historic settlements, guiding visitors through a sequence of environments that revealed different aspects of Saudi Arabia’s identity.
The experience combined architecture, storytelling, and immersive media to showcase the Kingdom’s cultural heritage alongside its rapid transformation and future ambitions. Visitors moved through a series of interactive and multisensory installations, including large-scale immersive content and live cultural programming, creating a narrative that connected tradition with innovation.

BeWunder delivered the full audio-visual and lighting systems for the pavilion, taking the scope from design and technical engineering through procurement, installation, commissioning, and ongoing support during EXPO 2025.
Working closely with the exhibition designers and content partners, BeWunder developed the technical solution so that the multimedia and lighting systems supported the pavilion’s narrative, spatial sequence, and overall visitor experience.
The scope included the procurement and integration of audio systems, video systems, lighting systems, media servers and playback, show control systems, and event IT networks, creating a coordinated technical environment across the pavilion.
A key part of the delivery was the close coordination with exhibition fit-out, MEP, and base build teams, ensuring that all systems were fully integrated within the wider architectural and construction framework.
Following installation and commissioning, BeWunder remained involved throughout the EXPO period, providing preventative and reactive maintenance to support stable and reliable daily operation.
