Designed as an architectural expression of openness and progress, the Kuwait Pavilion features striking “open wings” that symbolise acceptance, resilience, and a forward-looking vision. The pavilion presents a layered narrative that explores Kuwait’s natural environment, cultural identity, and future ambitions shaped by its people.

Through a combination of spatial storytelling and immersive technologies, the exhibition creates a continuous visitor journey, translating the pavilion’s themes into an engaging and interactive experience.

BeWunder delivered the multimedia and lighting systems for the pavilion, covering the development, design, and integration of all audiovisual and media technologies across both the interior exhibition and exterior areas.

During the Consultancy & Advisory stage, BeWunder contributed to the early development of the technical approach, aligning multimedia and lighting systems with the pavilion’s narrative and spatial concept.

At the Engineering & Design stage, the scope included the design of audiovisual and lighting systems, as well as the technical specification and engineering of interactive elements, ensuring a coordinated and technically robust solution.

The scope further included the installation and integration of audio systems, video systems, lighting systems, media servers and playback, show control systems, and event IT networks throughout the exhibition, ensuring all systems operate together as one unified technical environment. Interactive elements were integrated as part of this system landscape to support the overall visitor experience.

In addition, BeWunder delivered the façade and landscape lighting, including the design and implementation of lighting systems to enhance the architectural form and visual presence of the pavilion across the EXPO site.

All systems were fully integrated to ensure reliable performance and a seamless visitor journey.
