TURNKEY PROJECT

Under the theme “Common Ground”, the Netherlands Pavilion explores ideas of openness, collaboration, and shared responsibility. At the centre of the experience stands a symbolic man-made sun, representing hope and a future powered by clean and accessible energy.

The pavilion translates this vision into an immersive journey, combining spatial design, storytelling, and interactive elements to engage visitors in a collective narrative about sustainability and cooperation.

BeWunder delivered the visitor experience for the Netherlands Pavilion as a turnkey experience partner, taking responsibility for the final design development and full realisation of the exhibition.

Building on the creative concept by Tellart, BeWunder led the final design development, translating the narrative into a technically coordinated and buildable experience. This included the design and integration of multimedia and lighting systems, ensuring seamless alignment with the spatial and experiential intent of the pavilion.

The scope included the delivery and integration of audio systems, video systems, lighting systems, media servers and playback, show control systems, and event IT networks, creating a unified technical environment across the exhibition.

A key element of the project was the development and fabrication of a bespoke interactive sphere system, enabling dynamic and personalised interaction and acting as a central feature of the visitor journey.

BeWunder also delivered the full exhibition fit-out, including scenic and set build, exhibit fabrication, and installation of graphics and signage, ensuring precise coordination between physical elements and integrated technologies.

All elements were delivered as one coordinated experience, ensuring a seamless connection between storytelling, interaction, and technology.
